Kames Edge Park

This park is perched on a geological formation known as a kame. During the last ice age 15,000 years ago, rushing water carrying sand and gravel poured off of the 800 foot high glacier, leaving long, narrow hills called Kames. Most of East Wonder Lake is Glacial Park which has protected Kames for your enjoyment.

An interpretive sign explains the Kame Geology. A picnic table and bench provide for a relaxing view of steep drop off and a peek at the lake just a block away.
