West Wonder Lake Rd resurfacing project

The resurfacing project for West Wonder Lake will take place from Thompson Road to White Oaks Bay Road. As part of this initiative, all sidewalks at intersections will be replaced with PCC detectable warnings, in compliance with IDOT regulations (utilizing red rubber mats). The existing road surface will be ground down by approximately 2.5 to 3 inches, from curb to curb, and will be subsequently covered with around 3 inches of new asphalt. Upon completion of the paving, the roads will feature recessed reflectors to delineate the lanes and will be restriped accordingly.
